Tyler is originally from Knoxville, TN where he began to pursue lighting and show design at a young age. Classically trained in the art of dance and theater lighting his thirst for information started a career that led him across the world. Tyler has designed lighting for concert touring artist including Will Hoge, Todd Rundgrun, The Kings of Leon, American Idol winner Ruben Studdard, Opeth and Steve Winwood. He has traveled North America with performers such as Jewel, Hall and Oats, The Deftones, World Wrestling Entertainment, and Toby Keith. Tyler has lit American presidents for television and broadcast live from the White House. He has traveled to India and Europe to film a documentary and supervise lighting systems. At the Honda Center in Anaheim he supervised the suspensions and rigging of many entertainment production systems weighing over 100,000 pounds. Tyler has enjoyed designing for theatre, corporate events, symphony orchestra, rock and roll concerts and anything else that needs good lighting. Tyler currently resides in Los Angeles where he has shifted focus to efficient stage rigging methods and implementing sustainable lighting systems. Tyler's industry experience is unique in that it ranges across the broad spectrum of entertainment technology. Tyler's remarkable ability to see all aspects of an event come from this diverse history. Tyler has safely put shows into a vast array of venues under a variety of conditions. This knowledge coupled with real world experience are the tools needed to continually push the bounds of creativity and imagination.
